Preah Sihanouk reminds businesses to register present foreigners

The Preah Sihanouk provincial administration told businesses which hire foreigners and landlords who rent their location to overseas visitors to report their stays to local commune police stations by September 23.

In a September 9 letter, the administration said: “The owners of all business locations which accommodate or hire foreign nationals must report their presence at those locations by following the form attached herewith.”

The administration said the survey of foreign nationals is for the purpose of strengthening security, public order and safety for all foreigners coming to do business and work in Cambodia, especially in Preah Sihanouk province.
