The national Covid-19 vaccination committee appealed to people aged 18 and over who have not been vaccinated to immediately do so.

Or Vandine, Ministry of Heath spokeswoman and head of the committee, said on August 14 that while many people have voluntarily received the jabs during the nationwide campaign, some have missed the shots.

“We have observed that there are still people including workers who have not been vaccinated because some have just returned from abroad and some have just completed their quarantine while others have just delivered babies, among other reasons.”

In Phnom Penh, two state hospitals — Ang Duong and the National Maternal and Child Health Centre — have been designated as vaccination sites for those who missed the shots after the campaign ended on July 8.

For people and migrant workers in the provinces, they can go to any designated site by bringing along their ID card, passport or family book.
