Police in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district arrested a 17-year-old male on Saturday on suspicion of raping a 6-year-old girl. Hy Narin, Meanchey district police chief, said the suspect raped the victim behind a pagoda on February 28 and then escaped from the village. Upon his return on Saturday, the victim’s mother filed a complaint to police that led to his arrest.
