A soldier failed to appear at Siem Reap provincial court yesterday for questioning in relation to attempted murder accusations after allegedly shooting at a Forestry Administration official last month. Rom Sam Eam, second office’s deputy chief of brigade 5 in Anlong Veng district, said he declined to appear because he needed to complete his duties in the area.
