The Khmer Rouge tribunal’s Supreme Court Chamber issued its first decision last week, dismissing as inadmissible an appeal from civil party lawyers against a ruling that barred them from posing questions pertaining to the character of Tuol Sleng commandant Kaing Guek Eav, alias Duch, and from making submissions relating to sentencing, according to a statement published Monday.
