Regarding Allen Myers' letter of 11/22, "Democracy", wherein

he complains that Dr Lao Mong Hay was questioned about the suitability of Cambodian

judges for the ICC while he, Mr Myers, was not.

I believe Mr Myers misses the point. Lao Mong Hay was questioned because he advocates

in favor of democracy for Cambodians, rather than just theoretically.
