Us envoy prepares for Cambodia visit

Eric P Schwartz, the US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration, is scheduled to visit Cambodia later this month. In a statement issued by the US State Department on Monday, it was announced Schwartz would attend a UN meeting in Australia on June 8-9 before flying to Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. The statement said he will meet with government officials and “international organisations implementing assistance programs” in the three countries.
