Almost 70 garment workers from Maro Chuan factory were hurt in a traffic accident on Saturday in Phnom Penh’s Dangkor district. A flat tyre is believed to have caused a minivan transporting the workers to overturn. Municipal Police Chief Heng Chantheary said that 29 workers had been seriously injured, with 38 with minor injuries. The injured are being treated in hospital, police said.
