Backstabbing friends drool over man’s wife

An insecure Stung Treng man talked his way into a Christmas Eve stabbing on Tuesday.

Police said the 42-year-old had invited three friends over for a friendly drink when he noticed they were spending a bit too much time ogling his wife, who was preparing food for them in the kitchen.

Launching into a jealous tirade, the man provoked his guests to the point that they decided to settle the matter via a knife to the back.

The victim is now recovering, while police are on the lookout for the three suspects. KOH SANTEPHEAP
