Bike burglar gets classic mob beat down in capital

It was the doctor’s office, then the interrogation room, for a capital crook in Choam Chao commune who was caught yesterday trying to steal a villager’s scooter.

Police say the 24-year-old garment worker left her bike outside her room while she was taking a shower.

The burglar came to unlock the set of wheels, but observant neighbours spotted him and circled up.

As per tradition, a pummelling was passed out and authorities saw the suspect off to the hospital before charges were filed.
