Blowout goes from bad to worse in Poipet town

Four people were injured when the luxury SUV they were riding in took a tumble into a roadside hole in Poipet town early yesterday morning.

A Chinese national who was travelling in the vehicle said that one of the tyres suffered a blowout, causing the vehicle to swerve off of the road.

To make matters worse, the vehicle immediately ran smack into a pit, flipping over onto its side. Once the dust had settled, a local NGO collected the shaken passengers and took them to hospital.
