Capital man narrowly avoids theft, indigestion

A hungry Phnom Penh resident’s momentary lapse in moto-vigilance nearly resulted in a stolen scooter yesterday.

The man had parked his moto outside his house at noon and gone inside for a spot of lunch, but returned to discover his moto had been stolen.

A post-prandial police complaint on the part of the moto’s owner resulted in its recovery 20 minutes later, with justice proving a particularly delicious digestif.
