Car thief takes his time, now will be doing time

A man was arrested in Por Sen Chey district yesterday after allegedly stealing a car, then stopping off for a leisurely drink on his way to selling it.

Police said a man had parked his car in front of his home on Sunday night, only to wake up to find it missing.

A complaint was made, and police tracked the vehicle down to a Phnom Penh restaurant where three people were arrested.

Two believed uninvolved were released, but the third man reportedly confessed to stealing the ride.
