Police in Kandal province are hunting a trio of cattle rustlers turned makeshift butchers, after three cows disappeared in Sa’ang district early on Wednesday.

The farmers who owned them did not notice they’d gone until the following day, and after searching in a nearby plantation found the carcasses of their animals alongside knives, axes and wooden sticks.

Police suspect the rustlers slaughtered them to sell their meat. KOH SANTEPHEAP
