Cig-smoking thieves don’t manage to run far

Police were unclear who the smokes belonged to, but it was clear the cash of a husband-wife team of burglars was stolen.

Pulling up to a home in Pursat province on Tuesday, the wife waited outside while her beau broke in to grab the loot.

The homeowners pulled up, however, and shouted for villagers and authorities to stop the thieves.

A short chase ended with cops catching the couple, finding a wad of bills and four cigarettes in their bag, and sending them downtown in cuffs.
