Two Phnom Penh co-workers will have a thrilling but tragic tale to tell at the water cooler as they were attacked by a crew of swashbuckling thieves early yesterday.

Driving through Kakab commune after leaving the dance club, the pair was swarmed by six men with a sword until they hopped off their moto and ran for the brush.

The bike owner went to tell cops how the gang stole his scooter while his clipped colleague limped to the hospital for bandages.
