Couple injured after driving bike into truck

A parked truck quickly became a traffic hazard early yesterday as a couple riding a motorbike collided with it and sustained injuries.

Witnesses say the lorry was sitting immobile on the side of the road in Svay Rieng province’s Svay Chrum district when they heard a loud crash and went to see that the riders had rammed it.

The boys in blue pulled up later to send the wounded couple to the hospital and impound both vehicles to headquarters.
