A 46-year-old foreigner is no longer welcome at a guesthouse in Preah Sihanouk province after he allegedly attempted to swindle the establishment out of $2,000.

According to police, the man rented a room at the guesthouse for several months, continually deferring payment until the owner was compelled to file a complaint with immigration police.

The suspect was detained and police say he will be sent to court if he does not pay up. REAKSMEI KAMPUCHEA
