Dial ‘N’ for numbskull: shop owner cleaned out

An unsuspecting shop owner in Kampong Chhnang town will be wishing he had taken the advice of everyone’s favourite extra-terrestrial and simply phoned home after two suspects duped him into abandoning his store on Monday.

The two crafty crooks alerted the victim to a problem at home, where his son was staying. The trusting mobile phone shop owner left the suspects to look after the store while he whizzed back to his house to check on his son. The men, meanwhile, made off with 45 phones. Police are searching for the suspects. Koh Santepheap
