Dodgy shrimp sends over 100 to hospital

More than 100 wedding guests and the host came down with stomach pains and had to be hospitalised in Kandal province on Sunday after a mass case of food poisoning.

Police who interviewed the victims believe the culprit dishes were made of chemical-coated shrimp and vegetables.

Hospital staff said poor hygiene during food preparation was to blame. Fortunately for the chef, all victims are expected to recover and none have yet decided to sue.
