A witless 22-year-old jewellery thief was caught by Dangkor district police in Phnom Penh on Monday night for stealing a necklace from a woman who knew him and runs an eatery.

Police say the woman, 23, was waiting for clients at her business when the suspect grabbed the necklace and ran away.

However, as the woman was able to easily identify the suspect, police were able to make the arrest without much trouble.
