Driver runs into median, escapes in another car

Police are still trying to figure out where the backup car came from after a drunk driver and his passenger collided with the median in the capital, then escaped in a new vehicle.

Witnesses say the automobile was speeding in Chamkarmon district yesterday before it veered into the divider. Climbing out of the heap, the pair jumped into another ride and sped off.

Cops arrived to take the wreck to the station in case the men decide they want it after all.
