When alcohol’s in play, no second vehicle is needed for a bad wreck, and so it was for two men in the capital’s Daun Penh district yesterday.
Police said the duo had been imbibing at a beer garden when they boarded a moto and headed for home.
“Flying like the wind” per authorities, the two attempted a sharp turn near Independence Monument when the driver clipped a street corner.
The driver – helmet-less – was badly injured and rushed to hospital while the man riding pillion escaped with cuts and bruises.
