Empties a testament to driver’s boozy condition

Residents of Phnom Penh’s Russian Boulevard received a rude awakening early yesterday morning, after a truck collided with street barricades.

The driver had attempted to turn right, but the barricades prevented him from doing so, badly damaging the front of the vehicle and puncturing its tyres.

The driver escaped. However, six empty beer cans found in the cabin testified to the man’s state at the time of the accident.
