Father says ‘job’ is not to be dad, stabs wife

A Battambang man was eliminated from 2013 Husband of the Year voting after stabbing his spouse in the hand on Tuesday.

Police said the lout had once again returned home in a drunken stupor, when his wife had asked for help caring for their three children while she cooked dinner.

Announcing it was “not his job,” understandably provoked a row, one that ended with the stabbing. She ran out of her house screaming for help and neighbour’s quickly ran to the woman’s aid, subduing the man and handing him over to police. Koh Santepheap
