Free-wheeling a loan leads to man’s stabbing

Two sets of tyres bought on credit led to a stabbing on Monday. Police said the victim purchased the eight tyres last week, agreeing to pay in three days’ time.

When the deadline came and went, the enraged seller went to the victim’s Kampong Cham town home to confront him.

When no payment was forthcoming, the rubber met the road, and the knife met the back. The assailant fled following the attack and is now being hunted by police. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
