Someone in Svay Rieng province, it turns out, wasn’t so sweet on a Svay Tiep district sugarcane plantation as police suspect arson led to its destruction.

Arriving at the field on Monday morning to find only ash, the owner told police about a grudge with neighbours that started when he caught their cows munching on his product.

Sending out the feelers, authorities began looking for the local who lit the match.
