‘Head-on’ takes literal light in Kandal crash

A head-on moto collision is nasty, but all the nastier when there’s nothing on your head. Predictably, when two motorcyclists driving in opposite directions smashed straight into one another on Tuesday night in Kandal province’s Koh Thom district, the result was messy.

One of the victims, 20, sustained serious head injuries, while the other, 24 badly wounded his face. The pair, who’d been riding sans mirrors or helmets, were sent to Vietnam for hospital treatment..
