Idiotic driver escapes after hitting pedestrian

One Banteay Meanchey man’s decision to choose booze over road rules landed an innocent pedestrian in hospital on Tuesday.

Police said the disorderly driver came out of an off-licence and got behind the wheel, steering straight into the 30-year-old victim.

But while the injured party ended up in hospital, the suspect sped off and is still at large. DEUM AMPIL
