Jailbird’s freedom lasts just a couple of hours

A prisoner only managed to make it halfway through a jailbreak before being captured by Pailin province authorities.

In pre-trial detention for a drug trafficking charge, the 52-year-old was taken to hospital yesterday but skipped out on arrival and hailed a motodop to take him to the market for hiding.

The boys in blue tracked him down before he was able to blend in, however, and he was sent back to his cell within a few hours with revoked hospital privileges.
