Jilted ex’s gaffe really cements break-up

A jealous lover drove a cement truck into his ex-wife’s home in Kandal on Sunday, in what police say was a murder attempt.

The Takeo man had only moments earlier enjoyed lunch at his ex-wife’s rental property, which doubles as a restaurant.

When the woman declined his plea for a reunion he allegedly tried to force his way into the front door behind the wheel of his work truck.

The woman escaped without injury. The house owner is seeking $12,000 while the suspect is detained.
