Kandal cattle rustler nabbed in Kien Svay

A 23-year-old thought he’d rustled up a bargain on Saturday in Kandal’s Kien Svay district, after making off with a seven-month pregnant cow.

But the beast’s owner, who earlier had left her herd to graze on pasture near her house, quickly noticed the cow’s conspicuous absence when she returned to take them homeward and filed a complaint with police.

Police managed to apprehend the Kandal cow-snatcher and are preparing to send him to court.
