Man arrested following violent robbery in capital

Cops arrested a 17-year-old suspect in a motorbike robbery in Phnom Penh’s Dangkor district on Saturday.

According to police, five men riding on two bikes chased down the victim, forced him to crash and beat him up before taking his bike.

One of the suspects tried to make off on the stolen bike but police gave chase and apprehended him.

Officers are on the lookout for the other four suspects. The victim sustained serious injuries in the attack.
