Man learns hard way, you snooze, you lose

A foreigner in his thirties went running to police in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district on Wednesday after he was allegedly robbed by a sex worker in a hotel room.

The man said he arrived to the room with the lady early on Tuesday and spent the night.

Upon waking, he said his valuables had disappeared, though the woman denied she was responsible.

Instead, she complained the man slept with her and didn’t even have the courtesy to pay. The police investigation remains ongoing.
