A young couple checked into a Memot district guesthouse on Wednesday with more than romance on their minds.

Police, who showed up after being tipped by local security, said the duo, both in their early twenties, rented the room to work their way through a bag of meth.

Whether or not they were simply users or looking to sell it on will be up for a judge to decide.
