Moto thief finds no joy on road less travelled

One member of a gang of moto thieves was apprehended on Monday in Prey Veng’s Sithor Kandal district.

A woman had parked her moto as she made an offering to monks at the local pagoda, but her inattention presented too tempting an offer for the crooks lurking nearby.

The gang rode off with the victim’s bike and an angry mob in pursuit, but one outlaw chose the wrong fork in the road, landing himself and the stolen ride in the hands of the mob.
