Motodop plays cop to villager’s robber

They might not be properly deputised, but your friendly neighbourhood motodop are happy to fill in for the cops in a pinch.

Police said one in the capital’s Meanchey district did just that on Tuesday when a villager searching for his stolen moto asked the driver to “arrest” the culprit.

With the motodop hero hot on his trail, the suspect ditched the stolen scooter and fled on foot . . . right into the arms of villagers who knew him as a local thief. Don’t worry, they only “slightly” injured him, police say. Koh Santepheap
