Nothing but net after police’s fishing tip-off

Authorities got the nets but failed to net any of the culprits of fishing crimes in Battambang province yesterday.

Getting a tip-off about some lawbreakers on the lake, 37 officers hopped into boats and went to the scene.

They managed to haul in more than 3,200 metres of net, but the owner was nowhere to be found.

The net was destroyed and cops launched an investigation to ensnare the one who used it.
