One bad turn deserves another, thieves learn

A clumsy thief caused a domino effect of damage while stealing a purse from an unsuspecting motorist on Tuesday. The ham-fisted hoodlum and an accomplice pulled up to their target on a motorbike in the capital’s Tuol Kork district.

The suspect successfully grabbed her purse, but knocked her motorbike over in the process. This in turn knocked the thieves over, leaving all three in a heap in the street. One thief grabbed the bag and took off on foot, escaping scot-free while his companion had to face the cops.
