A 30-year-old man who allegedly pulled a gun and fired shots into the air, injuring a witness, was charged on Tuesday at Phnom Penh Municipal Court. AN ALLEGED fake-honey dealer was arrested on Wednesday after trying to palm off her sugar and water mix as real honey to villagers in Kandal’s Ang Snuol district. Domestic violence puts wife in hospital
Boribou district police in Kampong Chhnang province are searching for a 41-year-old alleged wife-beater who is on the run. According to police, the man accused his wife of having an affair and threatened to kill her, so the wife fled to her daughter’s house. Drunken rough and tumble turns fatal
A 21-year-old man is dead after his 17-year-old friend, intoxicated, accidently slashed his neck with a cleaver on Wednesday. Inexperienced lorry driver kills motorist
A 19-year-old moto-driver was killed on Sunday when he was accidently hit by an unlicensed lorry driver in Kratie’s Snuol district, police said. The 31-year-old suspect was allegedly hurtling down the road at high speeds and slammed into the victim, who died on the scene. The driver attempted to flee but was arrested by police five kilometres from the scene and was sent to court.
