Quick-thinking addicts elude K Chhnang cops

A police raid on a known drug den on Sunday netted one dawdling drug enthusiast in Kampong Chhnang, though his more fleet-footed friends managed to evade authorities.

Police had received a tip-off concerning a house in the district that was known to be a den of drug-related iniquity, and so mounted a raid.

The raid misfired, however, when the occupants of the house spotted the approaching cops and fled the scene, leaving their inattentive companion to face the music.
