Revenge is best served cold, but not repayment

One woman in the capital’s Prampi Makara district took the law into her own hands on Monday when she recognised a woman on the street who had fleeced her out of $1,300.

The pair had shared a room in a guesthouse when the suspect was in town to visit the victim.

The victim promptly made a citizen’s arrest and frog-marched the 33-year-old suspect to the nearest police station.

The suspect confessed to the theft, but claimed to have already spent all of the cash. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
