Set of lungs makes up for inattentiveness

A capital student had no need to phone a friend as cops were there to help her in a jiffy when two thieves tried to make off with her mobile device on Thursday.

Driving along in Phnom Penh Thmey commune, the 22-year-old pupil was tailed by the suspects who snatched away her cell and zoomed off.

Miraculously, her shouts for help were heard by nearby officers who quickly closed in on the handset heist men.

Both were arrested and brought in for questioning while the gadget was given back to its proper owner.
