And so it was on Wednesday when three young farmers celebrated the onset of Khmer New Year by tearing through the streets of the Oddar Meanchey commune with the metal appendages scraping pavement and raising a ruckus.

Annoyed citizenry then called the cops, who arrived, confiscated the motos and hauled the trio in, forcing them to sign a “contract” pledging to end their foolishness.
