A would-be bag-snatching victim took a tumble yesterday but could at least take some satisfaction in the same happening to her assailants just moments later.
Police said the 27-year-old woman was driving in the capital’s Tuol Kork district at about 8am when the two erstwhile thieves made their move.
They got the bag, but also the attention of passersby who began shouting for police. The short-lived chase saw the duo panic and put their own bike on the pavement.
One managed to run away, but the other was grabbed by police. The bag and its valuables were returned.
