A would-be Romeo nearly met his match in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district, where police arrested his dear Juliet’s brother, who was chasing him and hacking him with a cleaver.

Police say the victim, 30, always visited the 35-year-old suspect’s sister, despite repeated warnings not to from her brother.

On Sunday night, the victim was hacked a few times before police intervened, detained the suspect and sent the luckless lover to Preah Kosamak Hospital.
