Stone-cold victim holds tongue, but loses motos

A dramatic home invasion in Banteay Meanchey province led police to uncover an organised gang intent on emptying the local gold shops.

Four men had busted into a villager’s home in Preah Netr Preah district on Sunday night, brandishing rifles.

After the homeowner refused to tell the robbers where he kept his savings, the crooks beat him and made off with two of his motorbikes.

Police arrested one of the suspects, who told authorities the gang was responsible for several gold robberies.
