Sword-wielding pair tracked down, jailed

Two “gangsters” were arrested by police in Banteay Meanchey province on Monday, days after an alleged samurai-style assault on two motorbike riders that left both badly injured.

Police said the duo were among a group of three that had chased down the two victims on a moto, slicing them up as they drove.

One was left with serious head injuries, while the other lost his right eye.

The pair filed a complaint, and after a few days of searching, police took the two suspects into custody. The third is still at large.
