Takeo province police are stuck waiting for redemption after failing to catch any suspects in a bust on a well-known gambling ring in Angkor Borei district.

Getting a tipoff from locals about a house infamous for being a betting headquarters, cops showed up but watched the punters kick into high gear and run away.

Authorities said they were confident the suspects would show up with cards and cash again, so resolved to catch them at the next opportunity.
