Thief tries to make off with farmer’s tractor

A Pursat thief realised on Friday that a tractor may not be the best vehicle for a quick getaway after he stole it from a farmer in Kampong Chhnang province.

Police say the owner in Boribor district noticed his ploughing rig was missing and alerted authorities, who managed to chase down the culprit chugging away.

He was arrested and slapped with a court date while the farming equipment was hauled back to its rightful owner.
